Well, clearly you don't know me well enough yet to be on a first-name basis. I guess I should start out by introducing myself. Hi, I'm Brittney. I'm 19 and I live on Oahu, in the middle of the Hawaiian Islands chain. I'm just a typical college student who spends way too much time on the internet and has not a single clue as to what I'm actually doing with my life. But I guess we all go through that point in life, right?
Like I said, I spend way too much time on the internet. You can find me on facebook (rarely), instagram (always), twitter (more than always) and so on. If there's a social media outlet, I've probably made an account. Wow- now that I'm actually thinking about that, I'm so ashamed lol. But it is what it is. The internet is a place where I can express my thoughts and feelings and find others who think the same thoughts and feel the same feels. And now finally, I have a personal blog! Tumblr has usually been my outlet for things of this sort but of course, my tumblr has just turned into constant reblogs of the beach and gossip girl.
When I'm not on the internet (which again, is rare) I'm probably being dragged (sometimes willingly) around the island by my boyfriend, Woody. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE spending time with him; it's just that the things we enjoy are very different. He prefers to be out in the hot, sweltering sun doing activities like hiking and surfing whereas I prefer the comforts of air conditioning and netflix. Overall, we keep a pretty good balance with staying in and going out which I think works out pretty well for the both of us.
I think I've already said enough, so here's the basic jist of what I wanted this first post to be about:
- I'm 19 and from Hawaii
- I basically live on my laptop and phone
- When I'm not on social media you can probably find me in my boyfriend's ford ranger, probably at the beach
- I started this blog to have an outlet to express my thoughts, feelings and other things that humans experience
